Choose
your blend!
8:30
a.m.: Traditional worship
This
service features a more traditional style of worship,
with time-honored hymns, a majestic pipe organ, and
choral music. As morning's light pours through
the historic stained-glass windows, we pour our hearts
out to the Lord.
9:45
a.m.: Sunday School hour
Classes
for every age group meet throughout the church.
Check the worship bulletin for current classes being
offered.
11:00
a.m.: Contemporary worship
At 11:00 we
sing the songs of a new generation of worshipers, led
by teams of worship musicians. We lift our hands
and our voices to praise Christ with a youthful energy.

A
word about worship:
Check
out what the apostle Paul had to say about worship in
his letter to the Romans:
"Offer
your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing
to God - this is your spiritual act of worship." -
Romans 12:1
Eugene
Peterson gives a helpful interpretation of what "living
sacrifice" worship might look like in his book,
The Message:
"Take
your everyday,
ordinary life - your sleeping, eating, going-to-work,
and walking around life - and place it before God as
an offering."
In
other words, worship is a way of life.
Worshiping God isn't something we strive to do
for a few hours on a Sunday morning, but rather "worship
becomes the category under which we order everything
in our lives. Whatever we do, even if we are simply
eating or drinking, whatever we say, in business or
in the home or in the church assemblies, we
are to do all to the glory of God. That
is worship. And when we come together, we engage
in worship in a corporate fashion" (D.A. Carson,
Worship by the Book).
Don't just
come to church... Be the church.
