Celebrate Recovery

If you or a loved one needs freedom over your hurts, habits, or hang-ups, you are invited to Celebrate Recovery.

The First Church of God invites the public to their Celebrate Recovery meetings every Friday night at 7:00 p.m. in the church basement. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Celebrate Recovery is a Biblical, Christ centered program to bring healing to our hurts, habits, and hang-ups. The purpose of First Church of God's Celebrate Recovery ministry is to connect with others and celebrate God's healing power in our lives through the "8 Recovery Principles." This experience allows us to "be changed." By working and applying these Biblical principles, we begin to grow spiritually. We become free from our addictive, compulsive and dysfunctional behaviors. This freedom creates peace, serenity, joy and most importantly, a stronger personal relationship with God and others. As we progress through the program we discover our personal, loving and forgiving Higher Power - Jesus Christ, the one and only true Higher Power.

Following the meeting, at 9:00 p.m. the Solid Rock Café is open for your relaxation, enjoyment, and refreshments.
