We are into our third century of ministry and are really excited about the future!

We began as a church in 1825 with many exciting stories from the past. But more importantly, we are excited about the future.

God is doing some great things as we strive to be fully developing followers for the 21st century.

In Acts 13: 36, we read that David served God's purposes in his generations and then died. That is exactly what we are trying to do! We are working to apply God's eternal purposes in a way that makes sense to our generation.

We are bridge builders. We are bridging God's Word to our generation.  When we can help people see that God's Word applies to all of life, the light bulb comes on and life starts making real sense.

We are seeing it happen right before our eyes!

We are seeing God work in our lives in spite of all the modern day complexities and problems.

We are discovering that the eternal God is the most relevant One of all time.

We are seeing relationships developed on a deeper level than ever before. We are seeing people grow in their faith in exciting ways. We are seeing God call people into service with thrilling creativity. We are seeing our outreach grow both locally and globally grow in awesome displays of faith and unity. We are seeing our worship experiences transform lives.

One instance of an exciting and creative ministry is our mosaica coffeehouse. We are providing a safe place to relax and talk. We are engaging people with God's Word as it relates to their everyday lives. It is really cool.

Currently, we are forming a ministry called Celebrate Recovery. It is a ministry for those with hurts, habits, and hang-ups. That pretty much includes everyone. It is exciting to see God put that kind of genuine care and concern for people on our hearts.

We are expanding our discipleship ministry on Wednesday night. This fall, we will offer elective classes for people to study the kinds of things they are interested in to help them grow.

These expressions of faith and much more give a taste of who we are and what we are all about.

I am convinced that when God works in a person's heart, that is the best thing that could ever happen to that person.

I invite you to come join God and what He is doing here. Experiencing God will be the most exciting adventure you could ever go on.

I believe that God wants to energize you and fulfill you as you serve Him and His purposes.

It all starts with a living and loving relationship with God's Son, Jesus. It begins with seeing who God is and what His Son, Jesus has done on the cross for us. It is mind boggling when you stop and think about it.

"He who knew no sin, became a sin offering for us" because we have all sinned and that sin separates us from God. If we don't have it removed, it will separate us from God forever.

That is what Jesus did for us; he removed our sin so we could have a relationship with God that heals the pain of the past, helps for the problems today, and gives hope for the future and forever.

That is Good News!

However, we can't just know about it, we need to respond to it. It is like someone who deposited a huge amount of money in your savings account.  It is great but you have to go down to the bank and withdraw it for it to do you any good.

That is why the Bible says, to as many as received Him (Christ) to them he gave the right to be the children of God. We must receive Christ to access God's riches.

How do you do that? Get on BASE with God.

B elieve God paid for your sins on the cross.

A ccept God free gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ to you

S witch to God's plan for you life.

E xpress your love for God.

You can do that now by praying a simple prayer of faith -

Lord Jesus, I know my sins have hurt me, others, and haven't honored you. I am truly sorry for what I have done and I turn away from that kind of lifestyle. I ask you now to come into my life and be my forgiver, friend, and the main focus of my life so I won't fall into the same thing all over again. Thank you for your love which never gives up on me. Take over now and help me to live a life that pleases you everyday. Amen.
